What can your existing study and work evidence count for?

Get an individual written decision before comparing upgrade prices.

What is the difference between credit and RPL?

Credit transfer concerns recognised completed units. Recognition of prior learning assesses existing skills against the requirements. Job tenure or similar subject names do not settle either decision.

What belongs in the enquiry?

Supply the requested transcript and an outline of relevant experience. Ask for remaining units, acceptable evidence, assessment access and complete costs. Follow consent and privacy rules when considering client records.

How should you compare an upgrade price?

Compare prices only after each RTO has explained the prior study it assumes and your remaining unit list. Request tuition, assessment, resources, resubmission charges, extension fees and the total payable under a payment plan. Mark unconfirmed items clearly; a low upgrade price is not the price of full training for a new entrant.

Ask for the access period, assessment milestones and what happens if evidence is rejected or extra learning is needed. Keep any association, mentoring, aggregator or lender costs outside the course quote unless the offer explicitly includes them. No common fee or completion time has been established for those separate arrangements.
